Ministry

Local:
Baptist Bible Hour: Our 55-year-old international radio ministry.

Biblical Counseling: our pastors and others in the church are always available for practical, biblical counseling for individuals or families who are wrestling with the challenges of modern life. (For more information about biblical counseling, visit the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors.)

City Gospel Mission Homeless Shelter: 14 casseroles, 150 bagels (courtesy of Panera), 8 gallons of juice, and 1 Bible is all it takes for us to feed 100 homeless people in downtown Cincinnati with a breakfast and devotion on the fourth Monday of each month.

Nursing Home Ministry: seeking, in the name of Christ, to bring joy to the residents of local nursing homes through Bible-teaching, singing, and caring for those who attend the services.

Valley Interfaith Food & Clothing Center: an organized effort to care for the needs of families and individuals in our Millcreek Valley community.

University Bible Fellowship: a weekly Bible study/fellowship for University of Cincinnati grad students and faculty. For more information, or to get involved, please call the church office.

YMCA Bible Study: keeping the "C" in YMCA. Call the church office for details.

International:
White Unto Harvest: the ministry of Gus and Betty Jo Harter (and their 13 adopted children!) in the Philippines, helping to plant over 100 congregations in the past 5 years.

Beauty for Ashes: a fulfillment of a vision by the Harters to help the Filipino children, caring for the third-degree malnourished children of Mindanao. They have been blessed to save the lives of over 200 children since opening in 2001. Beauty for Ashes also conducts seminars on malnourished children for provinces, universities, health centers, and medical students.

Good Samaritan: the ministry of indigenous pastor A. Gunasekaran in Tamil Nadu, India, helping to plant 13 congregations, care for some 200 children in four orphanages, start 16 tuition centers and a community health clinic, translate 7 books, and publish the Tamil version of our periodical the Baptist Witness… and that's just since 1998!

Cincinnati Church also supports evangelistic efforts in Kenya, Mexico, Cambodia, and Russia.
