Lasserre is the director of the Baptist Bible Hour, our international radio ministry, since its beginning in 1953 and is the founding pastor of CPBC. One of the hallmarks of his ministry has been an emphasis on exegetical teaching, with a very practical and personal application, whether from the pulpit or in private counseling. Lasserre and his wife Emily have three grown children, and occupying a special place in his and Emily’s hearts are their twenty grandchildren!

Justin and his wife Chau moved to Cincinnati in 2003, in order for him to serve as an associate pastor at CPBC and managing editor for the Baptist Witness. Justin and Chau have since then adopted three children – Edmond (from Russia), Ransom and Avery (from Vietnam). Together they revel, not only in the blessing of children, but also in the wonders of God’s marvelous plan of adoption (Ephesians 1:5-6).

David serves as an elder of CPBC, with a particular burden for evangelism, whether local or international. He has led several teams to minister in India, leads Bible studies in the community as he has opportunity, and is always looking out for new ways that CPBC can minister in our neighborhood and among the nations. David is very thankful to be married to Emily Grace, and they are both blessed with two young children. David is also a math professor at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College.

Tim moved to Cincinnati in the fall of 2010 and has become an invaluable servant-leader in the body of CPBC! His easy sense of humor and hunger for Christ are both winning and inspiring. With a special burden and gifting for discipleship, Tim has hosted small-group Bible studies, coordinated our youth fellowships, as well as supplied the pulpit here and elsewhere in the community with capable, engaging teaching from God’s Word.

Trevor, and his wife Marsha, have six children. Trevor grew up in Cincinnati Church and made a profession of faith in Christ when he was 10 years old; he now hopes to see each church member be standard bearers of Jesus Christ, for our community and around the world.
Ron was a charter member of CPBC. His great desire for the church here is that we increase in love for the Lord Jesus and one another, and be at peace. Ron, and his wife Juanita, have two children, four grandchildren, and one great grandson Zack.
Nick, and his wife Judy, have three grown children and 8 grandchildren. Nick’s number one desire for CPBC is to see us emulate Christ’s words in Matthew 5:14: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.” In his spare time, Nick enjoys flying as a licensed pilot.
Steve and his wife Karen have six children. Steve’s desire for CPBC is for us to grow in the understanding of the Word, in our relationship to Christ and in our compassion for others. In his spare time he enjoys his family, fishing and teaching seminars on servant leadership principles.
Lyle and his wife Leanna have seven children. In his spare time, Lyle enjoys spending time with them and walking through the woods. Lyle’s chief desire for CPBC is to be a light in the greater Cincinnati area and a refuge for those seeking the unadulterated Word of God.
In addition to their two grown children, Stan, and his wife Barb, have two grandsons and one granddaughter, each of whom he enjoys spending time with and watching grow. Stan’s main desire for CPBC is that Jesus Christ be glorified and his people edified. In his spare time, Stan participates in bullseye and informal target shooting.
